👼 Which are the most active business angel networks?
We have covered in the 2nd issue of Smart Money In Creator Economy, the most active independent business angels in the Creator Economy game! But, what’s the result when BA co-invest together, within associations or syndicates?
For the startups, the BA networks give access to a key benefit: access to a broad network of top-level founders & C-level persons, and they could invest in a round where early-stage & venture firms could not! For the BA, join a network means an privileged access to high-qualified deal flows, be able to join challenging rounds, and connect with a A-list network of founders and executives.
The most active BA networks in Creator Economy could be very useful information hubs for VC searching for exclusive venture deals, or for founders seeking investors for their seed or Series A round (if the BA network is very reactive - the lack of these qualities within these organizations are often mentioned by founders).
So let’s see which BA network invest on a recurring basis in the Creator Economy since 2022:
Gaingels: 15 investments, exclusively in the US, from Seed to Series B
Alumni Venture Group: 9 investments, in the US and Italy, from Seed to Series A
SV Angel: 7 investments, 100% US, from Seed to Series A
Moving Capital (backed by Uber & decacorn startups alumni): 4 investments, 100% US, on Seed
Diverse Angels: 3 investments, from Seed to Series A
